Whether you’re looking for a reason to get out of the house, want to upskill in a certain area, or are just hoping for a place to belong and make friends, any or all of our programmes could be for you.  Feel very welcome to come along and join in!

Well Women

Tuesdays from 10am to 11.30am

A free support group for women with young children. Free child care is provided at the centre for the Tuesday daytime session. The group runs during term times.


Contagious craft

Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm

Want to complete some of those craft projects that you’ve been itching to do? Or perhaps you just need some ‘me time’? Work on those little things you never have time to do, play a board game, or just have a cuppa and a chat. There’s no charge and no need to book. Just come on down! You’re very welcome to join us.

Thursdays from 10am to 11.30am

For preschoolers and their caregivers during term times. Enjoy interacting with your children through music, the support of other parents and caregivers, and of course the ever-present morning tea for both your kids and you! $4 per family. All welcome!

Bread table

Fridays from 7.30pm

During ‘red’ in the Covid Protection Framework ‘traffic light’ system, Bread Table is drive-through only. Drop on by to collect free, fresh bakery bread.


Papakura Wesleyan Church

Sundays at 10am

A multicultural, multi-generational gathering. Our kids join us for the first part of the service, before heading off to age-appropriate programmes designed just for them. All welcome.


Parenting programmes / marriage course / budgeting, etc.

From time to time we run ‘block’ courses or programmes spread over several weeks.  We also love to partner with other community organisations that provide similar services. Give us a call or drop us an email and we can give you details of the next course happening near you!
